Job Role: Web Content Editor
Temporary or Permanent: Temp

Office Based/Hybrid: Hybrid
Rate of Pay (Umbrella and Inside IR35): £21.14

Short Brief/Requirement:

• Working alongside the Digital Production Manager, plan and update content work and support content owners with guidance.
  
  
• Monitor the performance of the website against targets and take proactive corrective actions to ensure standards are met.
  
  
• Actively review our weekly/monthly website analytic reports and fix broken links, typographical errors and proofread and edit spelling, grammar and syntax.
  
  
• Raise and report on any bugs in a timely manner ensuring minimal impact to the online customer experience.
• Support the set up of new website/microsites.
  
  
• Take responsibility for own personal and professional development ensuring that technical knowledge and skills are current and meet the needs of the role.

Job Requirements:

• A degree in a related field like English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or Digital Media
• Experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of web languages and technology such as HTML, CSS, XML, CMS and web development tools
• Excellent understanding and experience of the configuration and management of websites to agreed service requirements and technical specifications.
• Ability to communicate and generate understanding on technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
