Position: Principal Safety and Risk Consultant 

Location: Qatar
 
Qualification & Experience required:
 
Applicants should have a relevant science or engineering degree, and possess strong analytical thinking, numerical skills, and written and verbal communication skills.  The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of proven, relevant experience.  Candidates are expected to have a broad experience in the following:

• Fire, explosion and toxic gas consequence and physical effects modelling using specialist software (e.g. PHAST, FRED)
• QRA and other technical safety studies (e.g. BRA, EERA, ESSA, FERA, Facility Siting Studies) using commercial software (e.g. SAFETI, SHEPHERD)
• Fire and Gas Mapping
• Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) studies
• ALARP demonstration
• Facilitating hazard identification workshops such as HAZOP, LOPA and/or HAZID
• Project planning and management
• Writing proposals and coordinating bids
• Conduct training to local clients.
