Project scope: 
Fuel Station Turnaround & Inspection and technical maintenance

For this role we prefer candidates shall have operating plant inspection/ in-service inspection experience.


Basic Functions

The basic function of the Civil and Refractory Inspector is to perform
inspection services to verify the quality work during the course of plant
operation.


Role Scope:
The incumbent will monitor and/or perform quality activities. The incumbent will ensure that WORK is in compliance with all applicable requirements including without limitation SAUDI ARAMCO engineering requirements, standards, procedures, specifications, and Schedule Q of the project contract. The incumbent will provide training to others as and when required. Duties may require physical exertion, working outdoors, confined spaces, high elevations, remote work locations, and on or offshore.


Education Requirements:

• B.S degree in Civil Engineering with at least six (6) years of experience in civil, refractory and structural inspection. OR two (2) years industrial/technical College Diploma plus a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in civil, refractory and structural inspection.
• Shall have a demonstrated background and thorough knowledge of codes and references such as API 936 ACI and ASHHTO.
• Hold internationally recognized certifications in the disciplines for which he is qualified, such as API 936 or SAUDI ARAMCO approved equivalent.

Principal duties:

• Inspect civil and refractory assets as applicable to ensure compliance with international and SAUDI ARAMCO requirements.
• Monitor records for civil and refractory assets for compliance with international and SAUDI ARAMCO requirements
• Witness on-site and off-site civil and refractory asset material storage, preservation, receiving and installations tests for compliance with international and SAUDI ARAMCO requirements.
• Write inspection notes, logs and reports, as and when required.
• Initiate Defect Notifications and Equipment Deficiency Report (EDRs), as and when required.
