Job Location: within Saudi Arabia (opening in multiple locations)
The basic function of the Project Inspectors is to perform inspection services to verify the quality EPC work during the course of the projects.
Position SummaryAs an Inspector your role is to perform the inspection services to verify the quality of the work performed by the Contractors (and subcontractors) and material supplied by Vendors (and sub-vendors) is in compliance with the Contracts’ stipulated requirements throughout the course of the Project.
- Perform "Hold", "Witness" and "Surveillance" inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.
- Inspect material and equipment as applicable to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements for proper
- handling, storage and protection at SAUDI ARAMCO facilities and/or construction sites.
- Monitor Contractor's Quality Systems, records and Quality Personnel for compliance with requirements.
- Review and evaluate Contractor's Quality document submittals.
- Witness on-site and off-site material and installations tests for compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
- Record legibly and accurately all controversial and noncomplying construction practices, materials and equipment
- and report to supervisor detailed potential problems for early resolution.
- Write inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs) and Equipment
- Deficiency Report (EDRs) as needed.
Requirement: - B.S degree in Engineering in a respective inspection discipline with at least four (4) years of experience in relevant inspection discipline. OR Two (2) years industrial/technical College Diploma plus a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant inspection experience.
- Resume reflected a working knowledge/experience of National Electric Code/NFPA 70, IEC or equivalent
standards - Resume reflected working knowledge of electrical installations including materials, methods, specifications,
and hazardous location identification for oil and gas or petrochemical industries. - Hold relevant certifications such as National Certification Program Construction Code Inspector (NCPCCI) or
NFPA 70 Certified or equivalent. - It is good if you have current or previous experience working on Pipeline projects/ oil and gas construction.
- Aramco approval preferred but not mandatory
