Welding / Piping Inspector
Roles and Responsibilities:
Conduct quality inspections on construction activities at Oil & Gas project sites to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and organizational policies.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes related to construction.
Perform welding and fabrication inspections (CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or equivalent certification required) to ensure adherence to the project quality plan.
Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and handle non-conformance reports (NCRs) when required.
Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure quality control measures are implemented effectively.
Liaise with client representatives (such as ADNOC) for approvals, quality audits, and inspections.
Promote and maintain a strong culture of safety and quality compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct root cause analysis for quality-related issues and provide corrective and preventive action plans.
Monitor and ensure that materials, welding consumables, and processes conform to required standards.
Key Qualifications:
At least 5 years of proven experience in site construction within the Oil & Gas industry.
Diploma in Engineering in a relevant discipline.
Certification in CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI, or another equivalent.
Previous ADNOC approval is an added advantage.
E & I Telecom Engineer
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards, and organizational policies.
Conduct inspections and audits for E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) and Telecom systems within Oil & Gas and Refinery projects.
Review project quality plans, inspection test plans (ITPs), and other quality-related documents to ensure adherence to ISO standards and client requirements.
Supervise and monitor quality control processes at different stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring consistency and reliability.
Coordinate with engineering, construction, and commissioning teams for resolving quality-related issues and ensuring smooth project execution.
Prepare quality documentation, reports, and correspondence for submission to clients and other stakeholders.
Ensure the effective implementation of ISO 9001 quality management principles and conduct internal audits to maintain compliance.
Act as the primary liaison with clients (e.g., ADNOC) regarding project quality assurance, inspections, and approvals.
Provide support in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions for any non-conformance.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a relevant engineering field.
ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Certification.
Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a QC Engineer in Oil & Gas Projects.
Hands-on experience in E&I and Telecom systems within Oil & Gas and Refinery projects.
