Positions - We have outlined the positions, along with the roles and responsibilities and the educational qualifications required for each role

Location - UAE, Dubai

1) Mechanical Inspector

Duration - 7 to 9 months based on project requirements

Work schedule - 6 days / week

Job Description:

Conduct inspections to ensure that mechanical systems, equipment, and components meet quality standards, regulatory requirements, and project specifications.
Monitor and control the installation and testing of mechanical systems in oil and gas facilities.
Verify compliance with national and international mechanical codes, standards, and project requirements.
Prepare detailed inspection reports documenting observations, non-conformance, and corrective actions taken.
Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and other disciplines to ensure successful project execution.
Implement inspection procedures and quality checklists related to mechanical equipment and systems.
Perform witness testing and inspection during fabrication, installation, commissioning, and operations to maintain quality assurance.
Engage with third-party inspectors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure quality objectives are maintained in compliance with project schedules.

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
8–10 years of overall experience, with 5–8 years of GCC experience in oil and gas (EPC background)
Strong knowledge of oil and gas industry standards, codes (like ASME, API, etc.), and regulatory requirements.
Hands-on experience in inspection techniques, including NDT methods, for mechanical systems.

2) E&I Inspector

Duration - 3 to 6 months based on project requirements

Work schedule - 6 days / week

Job Description:

Inspect and monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) systems in oil and gas projects.
Ensure compliance with all relevant standards, specifications, and codes (like IEC, NEC, and others applicable to electrical and instrumentation systems).
Verify all E&I equipment matches approved designs, manufacturer standards, and client requirements.
Document non-conformities and recommend necessary corrective actions tailored to E&I systems.
Review calibration of instruments, loop testing, and system integration as part of QA/QC procedures.
Oversee installation practices, cable laying, gland connections, continuity checks, and insulation resistance testing.
Liaise with project teams and subcontractors for timely resolution of quality-related issues in instrumentation and electrical work.
Prepare detailed reports and inspection results, ensuring proper documentation for final acceptance.

Qualifications:

Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
8–10 years of overall experience, with 5–8 years of GCC experience in oil and gas (EPC background)
Proficient in E&I systems, including construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final handover.
Knowledge of oil and gas standards (IEC, NEC, ISA, etc.) and experience with different control systems like PLC, DCS, and SCADA.
Strong ability to interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, schedules, and specifications.

3) Package Quality Engineer - Mechanical

Duration - 18 months

Work schedule - 5 days / week

Job Description:

Develop and implement quality assurance processes for packaged mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, heat exchangers, etc.).
Conduct vendor and supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
Coordinate quality inspections at various stages of equipment manufacturing, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), and delivery.
Review Quality Control Plans (QCP) and Inspection Test Plans (ITP) provided by the vendors.
Monitor welding procedures, material traceability, testing results, and certifications during fabrication stages.
Manage non-conformance reporting and ensure action plans rectify deficiencies in the delivered packaged equipment.
Act as a liaison between vendors, procurement, and engineering teams to address technical queries and quality concerns effectively.
Document and prepare quality assurance records for final project handover.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
8–10 years of overall experience, with 5–8 years of GCC experience in oil and gas (EPC background)
Experience working with packaged equipment in oil and gas processes and EPC contracts.
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards such as API, ASME, and ISO standards for packaged mechanical equipment.
Strong vendor inspection, factory testing, and materials qualification experience.

4) Package Quality Engineer - E&I

Duration - 15 months

Work schedule - 5 days / week

Job Description:

Ensure the quality assurance activities for packaged equipment in electrical and instrumentation systems, such as MCCs, control panels, skids, or substation modules.
Review vendor and supplier quality plans, ITPs, and procedures for conformance with project standards and codes.
Conduct inspections, resolve non-conformances, and verify performance testing for electrical and instrumentation-based packages at vendor sites.
Coordinate FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) activities for electrical and instrumentation systems and prepare quality documentation.
Monitor compliance with standards such as IEC, NEC, and ISA, as well as customer specifications for E&I equipment.
Liaise with vendors, engineering teams, and procurement to ensure quality risks and issues are promptly addressed.
Maintain quality-related documentation, ensure proper project deliverables, and provide reports for final quality approvals.
Verify installation, calibration, and testing of Electrical and Instrumentation components during construction and commissioning phases.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
8–10 years of overall experience, with 5–8 years of GCC experience in oil and gas (EPC background)
Strong experience working in the oil and gas environment, particularly with packaged E&I systems.
Proficiency in QA/QC processes, FAT, and relevant standards (IEC, ISA, NEC, etc.).
Knowledge of control systems such as PLC, DCS, and field instruments is highly preferred.
