Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
Relevant Lifting inspection certification LEEA parts 1,2,3,4,6,7.
NDT level II, PT and MT Demonstrated 10 years of experience in lifting equipment inspection, with at least 5 years in lifting planning and supervision. Proven leadership and people management skills Self-starter and motivated to work independently Client centric with the ability to continuously build and improve relationships
Role and responsibility
Ensure full implementation of Client’s HSE management system/procedures. Ensure that all risks related to lifting activities have been identified, registered, evaluated and properly managed by developing the lifting Risk assessment Propose training and awareness plan for the lifting operations team.
Deliver training/awareness sessions to contractor’s employees involved in lifting activities according to agreed plan.
Ensure full implementation of the approved lifting procedure.
Review and enhance the PTW and its relevant documents prepared by contractors/ Client’s for lifting activities.
Develop and update the lifting equipment’s and accessories register.
Conduct audits and inspections on lifting equipment’s/accessories and service companies.
Register all corrective actions raised and follow up their closure Provide safety support/supervision on lifting operation
Ensure that all equipment used for lifting operations fully complies with HSE international standards, company requirements and local rules and regulations
