The Restaurant Assistant General Manager supports the General Manager in leading all front-of-house and overall operations for a premier steakhouse in Charlotte, playing a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience that reflects the highest standards of hospitality and service excellence. This role is responsible for supporting team development, driving operational efficiency, and assisting in the management of all financial and operational functions in a fast-paced, fine dining environment.
 
Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Assistant General Manager or senior leadership role within an upscale or fine dining steakhouse or similar high-volume restaurant environment
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to support, develop, and inspire a high-performing team while maintaining a culture of service excellence and accountability
• Solid financial acumen with a working knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization in a high-volume restaurant setting

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing all daily restaurant operations, ensuring consistent food and beverage quality, exceptional guest satisfaction, and alignment with the steakhouse's brand standards
• Assist in driving financial performance through strategic planning, cost control, and proactive management of all operational functions
• Recruit, mentor, and develop restaurant service teams while fostering a culture of hospitality, accountability, and continuous improvement
