Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Housing Association, who are looking for a Group Financial Controller to join their team based in Dorset. 

Position: Group Financial Controller         
Rate: £85,000 - £90,000   
Location: Dorset                
Work Type: Permanent (Hybrid)

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include: 

• Lead the audit process, ensuring compliance is met within stakeholder requirements and applicable accounting standards. 
• Take responsibility for the delivery of all external financial statutory and regulatory reporting. 
• Advise on the setting and application of the Group's accounting policy, ensuring you are keeping up to date on best practices to use in different scenarios. 
• Manage and develop the financial accounts team. 
• Identify opportunities for potential improvements in accounting processes, ensuring these are acted upon and reported. 

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Strong previous background in technical accounting. 
• Hold a relevant professional qualification. 
• High knowledge of statutory accounts, with previous experience to back this up.
• Able to manage teams across different divisions. 
• Strong IT skills, with the ability to analyse and present information.
