Responsibilities:

• Identify and acquire intellectual property (IP) rights from external partners for collaboration with trading card games.
• Source and evaluate new licensing and business opportunities aligned with game concepts and audiences.
• Negotiate, execute, and renew licensing agreements to meet contractual obligations and optimize commercial outcomes.
• Negotiate royalty structures and minimum guarantees with IP owners.
• Prepare, manage, and maintain licensing documentation, records, and processes in Japanese and English, including contracts administration, rights management, product release schedules, and royalty tracking.
• Coordinate payment processing, royalty reporting, and additional copyright licenses where required.
• Support internal and external approval processes for licensed products and related marketing materials.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Japanese and English languages for liaising with Japanese-speaking and English-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on selected weekends or public holidays for company-related events when required.
• Experience in reading or handling contracts, agreements, or legal documents is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of games and/or anime.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
