Job Summary:
Drive regional growth for automotive transmission products through technical sales, partnerships, and market development across Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to grow Automotive Transmission (AT) product business in Singapore and the region.
• Identify, map, and prospect distributors, dealers, workshops, transmission specialists, and aftermarket partners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while pursuing new business opportunities.
• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations to promote AT products and solutions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
• Provide technical consultation and recommend suitable transmission products and solutions.
• Deliver product training and technical presentations to distributors, workshops, and end-users.
• Support troubleshooting of product issues and coordinate technical resolutions with internal teams.
• Liaise with manufacturing, engineering, and product teams across global locations on specifications, inquiries, and requirements.
• Act as the key communication bridge between customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support new product launches and market introduction activities.
• Gather market intelligence and customer feedback for analysis.
• Prepare sales forecasts, business plans, and periodic sales reports.
• Manage quotations, pricing discussions, and commercial negotiations.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities.
• Participate in industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in the automotive transmission industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of automotive transmission systems (automatic, manual, CVT, and dual-clutch).
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical and commercial solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits, distributor meetings, and business development activities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in technical sales, business development, distributor management, or customer-facing roles within the automotive industry is an added advantage.
• Existing network with distributors, workshops, transmission specialists, or aftermarket customers is an added advantage.
• Experience working with international stakeholders and manufacturing teams is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Ford, General Motors, Japanese automotive brands, or other major OEM transmission platforms is an added advantage.
• Regional business development experience within Southeast Asia is an added advantage.
