Responsibilities:
Execute direct sales activities to achieve company targets, performance standards, and KPIs
Participate in training programmes and performance evaluations
Monitor sales performance and implement contingency plans where necessary
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues related to operations, service, and receivables
Engage with local and overseas offices and customers to support sales initiatives
Prepare pricing proposals and quotations for clients
Support the development of standard operating procedures, competitive analysis, and market research
Assist in annual budget planning and forecasting
Analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities and provide actionable sales leads
Contribute to customer solution development to enhance business growth
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales or marketing within logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding
Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field
Strong experience in market research and data analysis
Knowledge of tank operations or leasing within the chemical industry is an added advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement and stakeholder coordination
Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple priorities
