Responsibilities
Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliation schedules for standalone financial statements.
Manage monthly and year-end account closing, including financial reporting and analysis.
Prepare quarterly consolidated and audited statutory financial statements.
Develop quarterly budgets, including annual and mid-term plans, within stipulated deadlines.
Prepare and submit GST and withholding tax filings.
Liaise with tax consultants on corporate income tax and review tax computations.
Manage tax compliance requirements, including Pillar 2, transfer pricing documentation, and CFC regulations.
Coordinate with external and internal auditors throughout audit engagements.
Support operating system matters related to finance processes.
Drive internal control initiatives, process improvements, and user manual documentation.
Provide backup support for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Perform other finance-related ad-hoc duties as required.
Report directly to the Finance/Accounts Supervisor.
Requirements
5–7 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting practices.
Proven experience managing month-end and year-end close under tight deadlines.
Experience handling audit processes.
Professional accounting qualifications (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
Prior experience in an audit firm is an added advantage.
Regional exposure is an added advantage.
