Industrial Sewing & CNC Operator

Contract: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: $19 – $21/hour (based on experience)

Job Overview

Hands-on role in the marine manufacturing industry, working on high-end performance boats. This position focuses on CNC cutting, industrial sewing, and upholstery fabrication using marine-grade materials. Ideal for candidates with experience in vinyl, PVC, and industrial stitching within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC cutting machines to cut PVC and vinyl materials
• Perform industrial sewing and embroidery using Sunstar or similar machines
• Experience in a manufacturing or upholstery production environment
• Read and follow digital design files, templates, and blueprints
• Assemble and finish upholstery components with precision
• Maintain equipment and keep a clean, safe workspace
• Work closely with production and engineering teams

Requirements (Must Have)

• Experience with marine or industrial upholstery materials (vinyl, PVC)
• Strong skills in vinyl cutting, sign-making, and material layout.
• CNC cutting machine experience (Graphtec or similar)
• Proficiency with CNC software and digital design interfaces (Graphtec Studio, AutoCAD, Illustrator, or equivalent).
• Industrial sewing experience (Sunstar preferred)
• Ability to read blueprints and digital templates
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
