Mortgage Loan Officer (Residential)

Pay Rate: Base salary plus commission structure
 
Description
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Mortgage Loan Officer to join a growing team in Miami. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a sales-driven environment and enjoys building strong referral networks within the real estate industry.
You will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans and guiding clients through the entire lending process—from initial consultation to closing.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Build and manage relationships with realtors, brokers, and referral partners across the territory
• Actively generate new mortgage opportunities through networking and outreach
• Guide clients through the mortgage process from application to closing
• Analyze financial profiles and recommend appropriate loan solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing and closing
• Represent the organization at industry events and community functions

Requirements

• 3+ years of mortgage lending experience
• Active mortgage license (NMLS)
• Strong understanding of mortgage products (FHA, Conventional, VA)
• Experience with loan origination systems
• Knowledge of financial documentation and credit analysis
• Ability to generate business and build relationships
• Valid driver's license
