About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Graduate Accountant will support the finance team across core accounting, reporting, audit, and taxation activities. This entry-level role is ideal for someone looking to build strong technical accounting skills, gain exposure to commercial finance, and develop professionally in a collaborative and values-led environment.
You’ll work closely with experienced finance professionals, contribute to key financial processes, and support the ongoing financial health of the organisation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Support month-end balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist in reviewing and improving financial processes and procedures
- Support corporate tax compliance (GST, FBT, Income Tax)
- Assist with the annual audit process
Skills & Experience - Recently completed a tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance or a related discipline
- Strong attention to detail with a genuine interest in accounting and finance
- Basic Excel skills and confidence working with data
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn
