About the Role 
  
Arrotex is entering a pivotal phase of growth as it expands beyond its established leadership in generics into higher value, clinically differentiated innovative medicines. As the organisation strengthens its commercial, scientific and operational capabilities, the President, Innovative Medicines will play a critical enterprise level leadership role in shaping and accelerating this transformation 

This is a high impact commercial leadership opportunity suited to an experienced senior executive who brings strategic foresight, scientific and commercial fluency, and a track record of building and scaling innovative, growth-oriented healthcare businesses.

Through visionary leadership and operational excellence, the President will play a transformative role in shaping Arrotex’s future in innovative medicines and delivering meaningful value to patients, clinicians and the broader health system. 
  
Key Responsibilities 
  

• Set the strategic direction for the Innovative Medicines division across Australia and New Zealand, establishing long term growth priorities and portfolio ambition. 
• Lead the development of the portfolio and brand strategy, including therapeutic area prioritisation, competitive positioning and lifecycle planning. 
• Drive enterprise level commercial and brand strategy, ensuring integrated investment decisions and alignment with organisational goals. 
• Oversee the end to end go to market model, ensuring excellence in brand planning, marketing, customer engagement and sales execution. 
• Provide senior leadership influence on enterprise investment decisions, partnerships, capability development and long-term portfolio expansion. 
• Build strong external partnerships with healthcare professionals, policymakers, global innovators and industry bodies to strengthen market presence and credibility. 
• Ensure seamless cross functional delivery across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Pricing and Regulatory teams. 
• Develop and lead a high performing division, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, capability development and customer centricity. 
• Implement strong governance, operational discipline and performance management frameworks to support effective decision making and risk management. 

  
  
Skills and Experience  
  

• Extensive experience leading commercial and strategic functions within pharmaceuticals, including responsibility for portfolio growth, brand strategy and market expansion. 
• Proven track record shaping enterprise level strategy and delivering sustained commercial performance in highly regulated healthcare markets. 
• Deep understanding of innovative medicines, therapeutic area trends, value drivers, evidence needs and the broader ANZ healthcare environment. 
• Strong capability in portfolio management, lifecycle strategy, investment planning and evaluating new therapeutic opportunities. 
• Demonstrated ability to lead integrated Cross functional teams across Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory and Pricing. 
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with experience building relationships with healthcare professionals, policymakers, industry partners and global innovators. 
• Highly developed leadership capability, including experience building high performing teams, developing senior leaders and driving cultural change. 
• Strong governance, risk management and operational discipline, with the ability to implement frameworks that support agile, high-quality execution. 
• Advanced commercial acumen, including financial management, forecasting, business planning and performance measurement at enterprise scale. 
• Superior communication, influence and negotiation skills, with the ability to operate effectively at executive and Board level
