About the Role
The General Manager, Sinapse Health, is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the strategic, commercial, and operational performance of a high-impact healthcare advisory business. This position is ideally suited to candidates with a strong foundation in top-tier consulting environments who are seeking to apply their expertise in a purpose-led, high-growth healthcare context.
  
You will lead the design and delivery of sophisticated consulting, analytics, and strategic advisory engagements, partnering with healthcare organisations to solve complex system challenges, unlock value, and deliver measurable outcomes.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute short- and long-term strategy for the business unit, leveraging market insights, healthcare system dynamics, and client needs to drive sustainable growth and innovation.
• Lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based advisory work, including portfolio strategy, operating model design, and data-driven recommendations.
• Oversee project delivery and internal operations with a strong focus on commercial performance, resource optimisation, risk management, and consistent execution excellence.
• Build and maintain senior executive relationships across the healthcare ecosystem, positioning Sinapse Health as a trusted strategic advisor and identifying opportunities for expansion and growth.
• Translate complex analytical insights into clear, actionable strategies that influence decision-making at executive and board level.
• Develop and lead high-performing, multidisciplinary teams, fostering a consulting-led culture of accountability, intellectual rigor, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and quality standards, while maintaining a strong focus on innovation and best practice.

Skills & Experience

• Background in a leading strategy or management consulting firm (e.g. MBB, Tier 1 or Big 4 advisory), with experience operating at Principal, Director, or Partner-equivalent level.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, high-value consulting engagements, ideally within healthcare, life sciences, or adjacent sectors.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience shaping service offerings, driving revenue growth, and managing P&L performance.
• Exceptional problem-solving capability, with the ability to structure ambiguous challenges, analyse complex datasets, and deliver clear, strategic recommendations.
• Proven ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite and board-level executives.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams within a consulting or advisory environment.
• Deep understanding of strategy development, transformation, and operational improvement within complex organisations.
