Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Construction Desk (Business Development Focus) 

Are you a confident B2B salesperson who thrives on building relationships, following up leads and closing deals? Join our expanding Construction division as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant and step into a career with long-term growth, high earning potential and constant variety.

What You’ll Do

• Drive new business development across the construction sector
• Build and manage relationships with hiring managers, project teams and site supervisors
• Conduct regular follow-up calls, nurture warm leads and manage repeat client interactions
• Manage job ads, shortlisting and placement coordination
• Deliver high-quality service to clients and candidates across the full recruitment cycle

What We’re Looking For To succeed in this role, you must have:

• Business-to-business (B2B) sales experience
• Experience in a role where you handled recurring follow-ups, repeat customers or ongoing relationship management
• Confidence on the phone and a natural ability to build rapport
• Resilience, drive and a competitive mindset
• Strong organisation and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Motivation to hit targets, grow a desk and earn strong commission

Sales backgrounds that work well: account management, telesales, business development, trades supply, labour hire, construction materials sales, or similar.
