Engineering Trades Australia (ETA) is currently recruiting a Project Engineer to join a leading civil contractor delivering major water infrastructure projects across Perth and Western Australia.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced civil Project Engineer with proven Water Corporation exposure looking to step into a stable, long-term role with a well-established contractor and secured project pipeline.
About the Role
You will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle across civil water infrastructure works including pipelines, pump stations and underground services. Working closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and site teams, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage planning, mobilisation, delivery and close-out of civil projects
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
• Oversee cost control, forecasting and programme management
• Ensure compliance with Water Corporation standards and specifications
• Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants and internal stakeholders
• Drive safety, quality and environmental compliance across all works
About You
• Experience as a Project Engineer within civil construction
• Strong background in water infrastructure projects (pipelines, pump stations, underground services)
• Exposure to Water Corporation projects highly regarded
• Strong commercial awareness and reporting capability
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• WA-based experience preferred
