Detailed Job Description: - 4-5 years of hands-on experience configurating and supporting Oracle EBS R12 for trouble shooting and user support in Finance functional areas (as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, and Cash Management.
Job Summary: - The Financials Business Systems Analyst (BSA) is responsible for analyzing and improving business processes related to financial systems, particularly within Oracle EBS R12 modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management.
- The role involves working closely with stakeholders to identify business needs, propose solutions, document requirements, and support system implementations and upgrades.
- Additionally, the BSA will provide technical assistance to IT teams and end users to ensure seamless system functionality and compliance with business objectives.
- Enterprise System Issue Management (60%)
- Monitor, track, and analyze IT issues, incidents, and service disruptions affecting Oracle EBS financial systems.
- Perform system configuration changes or customizations to resolve issues or implement enhancements, ensuring seamless functionality.
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT-related financial system issues, ensuring proper triage, categorization, and prioritization.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying problems and implement long-term, sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence.
Education: Additional Job Details: - Enterprise System Implementation & Enhancements (40%)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into system designs, workflows and user stories for development.
- Analyze data flow across multiple applications to develop effective data mapping and integration plans.
- Work with developers to ensure system customizations and extensions meet business requirements and function seamlessly.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test scripts and testing plans (functional and regression testing).
- Coordinate change requests, release schedules, stakeholder communications, and smoke testing before system releases.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by developing testing strategies and working with business users to validate that solutions meet requirements.
Knowledge & Skill Requirements: - Strong expertise in Oracle Financials ERP modules, including GL, AP, AR, FA, etc
- Strong knowledge with SQL, PL/SQL.
- Familiar with financial/accounting and reporting tools.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex data.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
- Experience with process automation, system integrations, and finance-related technology initiatives.
- Knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulatory requirements is a plus.
Education & Experience Requirements: - 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, preferably in finance or ERP-related roles.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in ERP system implementations, configurations, and enhancements.
- Prior experience in Oracle ERP Financials or similar enterprise financial systems is highly desirable.
