Commercial Finance Manager – Net Revenue & GTN

Role Overview
This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who enjoys operating at the intersection of commercial strategy, pricing, and revenue analytics within the pharmaceutical or healthcare space. The role focuses on ensuring accurate net revenue outcomes by overseeing Gross to Net (GTN) mechanics, commercial deductions, and financial controls tied to complex customer and payer structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the financial mechanics behind net revenue, including rebates, chargebacks, pricing adjustments, and commercial deductions
• Analyze trends and drivers impacting net sales performance across products and channels
• Partner with Commercial, Contracting, and Pricing teams to ensure financial alignment and compliance with customer agreements
• Support period-end financial activities related to revenue recognition, reserves, and reconciliations
• Identify and resolve revenue discrepancies, pricing variances, and billing-related exceptions
• Contribute to working capital initiatives, including DSO monitoring and optimization
• Enhance reporting, analytics, and automation to improve visibility into GTN drivers
• Collaborate with FP&A to support forecasting, scenario analysis, and management reporting

 
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare finance with direct exposure to GTN or net revenue processes
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly
• Advanced Excel capabilities; experience with ERP and reporting tools preferred (SAP, analytics platforms)
• Solid understanding of revenue accounting principles and commercial contract structures
• Ability to work effectively across functions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
