Aircraft Part Quality Inspector

Location: Hialeah, FL

Position Summary:
 
We are currently seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Inspector to join a high-performance team committed to precision and excellence. The ideal candidate will support validation processes for product non-conformances and ensure compliance with engineering requirements, quality procedures, and applicable industry standards.
This role provides exposure to quality assurance practices in the aerospace sector, supporting forensic analysis and root cause investigation for nonconforming parts and processes. You will contribute to the documentation and implementation of corrective and preventive actions while gaining in-depth knowledge of quality systems, including AS9100.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) for customer submissions.
• Monitor and verify the accuracy of inspection documentation.
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to address nonconformances.
• Use precision measurement instruments such as calipers, ring/pin gages, and comparators.
• Interpret and analyze engineering blueprints and quality standards.
• Support the implementation of corrective/preventive actions as necessary.
• Utilize quality systems and portals to manage customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inspection and quality compliance activities.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant, direct experience in aerospace inspection or a similar role.
• Familiarity with customer quality systems and portals.
• Experience with QA inspection methods and First Article Inspections.
• Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel).
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and verbal communication).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• High school diploma or equivalent education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Net-Inspect.
• Working knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing principles.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience (preferred but not required).
