Aerospace Engine Repair Order Coordinator

Schedule: Monday – Friday
Pay rate: 60K (Open to discussion, based on experience)
Description:

ttg Talent Solutions has been entrusted by a prominent Inventory Solutions company in the Aerospace industry. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely fulfillment of open repair orders, requiring seamless collaboration with vendors and various internal departments.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the creation and administration of Repair Orders.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with repair vendors, ensuring clear communication regarding open repair orders.
• Evaluate and interpret repair vendor quotes, employing strategies to optimize cost efficiency.
• Strategically manage the allocation of piece parts to repair vendors to minimize end-unit costs.
• Negotiate with repair vendors to reduce costs associated with Beyond Economic Repair (BER) quotes.
• Input and authorize repair vendor quotes in the system.
• Proactively generate reports on repair orders for review and analysis by management.
• Follow up diligently on outstanding issues, seeking timely updates and resolutions.
• Provide support to the Sales Department by monitoring and facilitating repair orders committed for sale.
• Aid the Receiving Department in addressing issues related to nonconforming units placed on QC Hold.
• Assist the Accounts Payable Department in resolving inquiries related to repair invoices.
• Consistently surpass established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to maintain organizational standards.
• Fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements: 
 

• High School Diploma
• 3 Years of  MRO, aerospace  experience working with customer and vendor relationships
• Direct experience working with Engines, CF34, P&W
• Microsoft Office suite proficiency (Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with MRO terminology, IPC’s, S/B’s, 8130’s traceability
