Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Location: ON-SITE Miami, FL
A growing organization in the media and entertainment space is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join its finance team in Miami. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical professional who enjoys working across forecasting, financial reporting, budgeting, and operational analysis. The right candidate will be comfortable managing multiple priorities, interpreting complex data, and delivering insights that support strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities - Lead and support forecasting activities, including monthly updates and annual budget preparation
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including account analysis and financial review support
- Prepare cash flow schedules and maintain forecast models tied to operating expenses and designated business initiatives
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis and balance sheet review
- Track and manage financial activity related to rights, royalties, licensing arrangements, and other contractual revenue streams
- Prepare periodic payout schedules and reporting tied to royalty-related obligations
- Partner closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate billing activity and vendor payment requests
- Contribute to operational review materials for leadership and provide insight into financial performance trends
- Handle ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as assigned by finance leadership
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience in finance and/or accounting
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
- Experience with financial planning or ERP systems preferred
- Familiarity with reporting tools and data visualization platforms is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and take ownership of projects from start to finish
