About the Role:
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) to oversee daily operations in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This role will focus on executing production schedules efficiently while ensuring full compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a deep understanding of consumer products or pharmaceutical manufacturing, and a proven track record in supervising teams on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute and oversee production activities per the approved daily schedule and company standards.
• Lead and manage operators and support staff during the 2nd shift, ensuring adherence to all safety and compliance protocols.
• Maintain consistent communication with management, process engineers, and production specialists to ensure efficient workflow.
• Conduct regular audits and spot-checks to ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, and other regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that all documentation is completed accurately and timely, in accordance with company standards.
• Direct and support the facility cleaning team to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Guide and assist in the execution of change control processes, corrective actions, and follow-up from audits or deviations.
• Train, coach, and assess team members, managing performance reviews and individual development plans.
• Collaborate with maintenance personnel to ensure equipment readiness and resolve any mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain shift continuity through thorough documentation and communication during shift handoffs.
• Participate in off-hours meetings and contribute to recruitment, training, and performance management of direct reports.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Production Lead or Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory experience in a regulated industry is essential; pharmaceutical experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, production scheduling, and quality/compliance systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in consumer product or active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) production.
• Familiarity with deviation investigations, technology transfers, and change control systems.
• Experience leading shift operations in a union or non-union manufacturing environment.
