Group Insurance – Sales Manager
To Led a new division - Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) line of business.

Out client is hiring a Group Insurance Sales Manager to lead and scale our Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement (ICHRA) line of business. This role will build the operational foundation for ICHRA growth, develop agent support resources, and serve as the internal subject-matter expert by completing training with carrier, technology, and compliance partners. You will drive production growth, ensure compliance, and deliver best-in-class support to our agent network.
Requirements
- Active Health Insurance License
- 3+ years of experience in employer benefits and/or individual health insurance – Group Insurance Sales
- Confident to build and run a group line of business from zero
- Hands-on ICHRA exposure, a plus
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
- ACA/ICHRA technical knowledge
- Open enrollment management
- Process documentation/building
- Strong ability to learn new systems and simplify complex information
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High initiative and comfort in a startup-like environment since this is a new division
Responsibilities - Build internal workflows, documentation, and agent support processes
- Complete partner-led training to master tools, enrollment platforms, and product knowledge
- Turn training into clear materials: job aids, playbooks, and agent communications
- Contribute to the strategic plan for ICHRA growth and expansion
- Track performance metrics, identify trends, and recommend improvements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ICHRA questions and support
- Guide agents through eligibility fundamentals, plan selection workflows, and enrollment processes
- Maintain strong communication with carrier representatives and partner trainers
- Escalate issues and collaborate to improve the agent and client experience
- Support expansion of product offerings and competitive compensation structures
- Ensure ICHRA-related activity follows applicable federal guidelines, state regulations, carrier rules, and internal standards
- Partner with Compliance, Marketing, Data/IT, and Sales Ops to keep operations running smoothly
- Promote cross-sell initiatives across other lines of business
Benefits - $85K+ base + up to 60% of base in bonus ( **salary based on experience and background, could be higher for the right candidate)
