Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a Local Authority based in Northwest London, are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their team and play a crucial role in their resources and development operations. 

Position: HR Business Partner (Children's)
Rate: £32.45 per hour (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: Temp (Feb 2027) Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Hybrid or Fully Remote 

Purpose:

• The postholder is responsible for leading the delivery and development of an excellent Human Resources provision to all directorates within the Council, with a particular focus on strategic HR Business Partner support for the Childrens Division.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide an effective, consistent, and responsive HR service to meet customer need, covering all areas of HR remit. Expert employee relations advice and support is provided to managers and directors across the council from start to finish.
• Casework including complex casework, organisational change, and policy development within the Human Resources remit are progressed, concluded, and implemented within deadlines, KPIs and in line with existing SLA.
• Advise directors, managers, and other stakeholders on issues relevant to the service area including complex casework, change management and policy development.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation. 
• Demonstrable record of achievement in employee relations, specifically complex casework, TUPE, and strategic and operational human resources projects. 
• Degree and/or CIPD or equivalent professional body qualified or relevant work experience. 
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
