Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, an educational institute in Wandsworth, are looking for an experienced Electrical Installation Lecturer to join their team and play a crucial role in their essential learning operations.   

Position: Electrical Installation Lecturer
Rate: Up to £40 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract Duration: Temp (Dec 2026) with Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Mon-Fri / 9 am to 5pm 

Purpose:

• Teach and assess students in the theory and practical skills required for careers as electricians. 

Job Responsibilities: 

• Plan and deliver engaging theoretical and practical lessons in electrical installation across Levels 1 to 3, including apprenticeships. 
• Mark coursework, evaluate practical workshop tasks, and conduct exams while tracking student progress using digital e-portfolios. 
• Act as a programme tutor, offering academic guidance, pastoral care, and individual learning reviews.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Substantial hands-on experience working as an electrician in the electrical sector. 
• A recognised teaching/electrical qualification
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
