Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a public sector client based in Bristol, are looking for an experienced Asset Information Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their housing and landlord services. 

Position: Asset Information Officer
Rate: £225 per day (Umbrella) 
Contract Duration: Temp (Dec 2026) Possible Extension  
Working Arrangement: Remote (occasional visits) 

Purpose:

• Lead and co-ordinate enhancements to asset data and information IT systems and processes to ensure that they are fit for purpose. To proactively identify opportunities for effective asset investment and asset use. Analyse and model asset data and information in the context of social housing issues and produce asset related reports as required.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead on ensuring that the overall quality, quantity and security of asset data meet Housing and Landlord Services’ strategic needs. This includes co-ordinating and ensuring timely uploads of asset data and information by other staff.

The role will involve:

• Data and config changes within the NEC housing system. 
• Management of the asset data inbox, ensuring that data related changes are actioned within timescale.
• Support on projects to improve data governance, such as document naming conventions, data definitions and other data governance processes.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation. 
• Experienced in NEC housing system configuration and data changes.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
