Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a local authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Relocation Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their housing & regeneration operations.  

Position: Relocation Manager
Rate: £32.45 p/h (Umbrella)
Contract: 4-5 months (Possible Extension)

Duties:

• Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of corporate relocations, office moves, service decants, churn activity, and workplace reconfigurations.
• Provide specialist workplace planning expertise, including space utilisation analysis, occupancy planning, and CAD-based layout design.
• Ensure accommodation changes are delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to operational services.
• Responsible for the practical implementation of workplace and accommodation changes across the Council’s corporate estate.
• Procure and manage specialist removals and storage contractors, acting as the Intelligent Client for move-related services.

Job Requirements:

• Membership of IWFM (Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management).
• Significant experience in workplace planning, space utilisation, and accommodation planning within a public sector organisation.
• Proven experience delivering office relocations, service moves, decants, and workplace reconfigurations.
• Expert knowledge of space planning principles and the ability to develop floor plans, layouts and move drawings.
• Experience in commissioning and managing external removals and logistics contractors.
