Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in East London, are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join their team and play a crucial role in their finance operations.         

Position: Financial Analyst
Location: East London
Contract: 3 months (Possible Extension)

Job Responsibilities: 

• Support the organisation in the management and provision of its financial data. Ensuring that data is accurate and available for decision making.
• Combine multiple data sets to analyse casual links in data and possible behavioural trends.
• Perform scenario analysis and sensitivity analyses within given paramete.
• Complete financial transactions to ensure data integrity. Ensuring supporting documentation is correctly saved.
• Analyse trends in data, highlighting outliers.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in designing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, combining data from multiple sources.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI user with extensive experience transforming large and complex datasets into meaningful management information.
• Proven ability to translate complex financial and operational data into visually engaging reports.
• Experienced in data modelling, Power Query, data validation, and automating reporting processes.
• A clean Basic DBS certificate is essential for this role (Must be willing to apply for one).
