Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Specialist SEN Provision who are looking to recruit a SEN Class Teacher to permanently join their teams based in the Harrow and Uxbridge areas.
  
JOB DETAILS:

• PAY RATE: Negotiable (MPS)
• WORK TYPE: Permanent
• WORK PATTERN: Full Time 
• LOCATION: Harrow and Uxbridge

JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of this role is to work alongside other members of the team to provide a caring and educational environment in which students will learn. The right candidate will join their team to teach learners with multiple SEND Requirements including ASD and SEMH.

JOB DESCRIPTION
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:

• Plan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classes, following the school’s plans, curriculum and schemes of work.
• Adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and SEND needs of pupils.
• Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of the school’s policies, practices and procedures, so as to support the school’s values and vision.
• Maintain good order and discipline among pupils, managing behaviour. effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:

• Possess a recognised teaching qualification (QTS) and evidence of continued professional development.
• Degree or equivalent.
• Relevant SEND qualifications and good understanding of the curriculum.
• An enhanced DBS check is required.
