Hardworking, attentive, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service
2-3 years’ experience as a dining room manager preferably in a high-volume restaurant
Great verbal and written communication skills
Provides guests with exceptional service and value
Disciplined and firm about standards of performance, yet fair and personable in developing employees
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS A RESTAURANT MANAGER
Interviews, hires, trains, schedules and develops front of the house (FOH) employees
Writes and posts FOH weekly schedules and sets specific service goals for the staff to work during the shift
Works the floor hands-on by greeting guests, processing checks, investigates and resolves customer complaints
Interacts with guests in a genuine and friendly manner to establish a personal, professional rapport
Conducts daily menu class
Directs employees in safety and health prevention measures.
Assists in monthly inventory
Writes agendas for and conducts departmental meetings
Attends and participates in weekly manager meetings
