We are seeking a Sous Chef for a modern French-American breakfast restaurant at The Resort. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in high-end hotels or restaurants. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong skills in scheduling, ordering, mentoring the team, and engaging with guests to deliver a memorable dining experience.
 
Qualifications

• A culinary degree is strongly preferred. The French Culinary Institute would be great.
• 5-Star experience is highly desired...
• Minimum 2 years of leadership in high-end hotels or restaurants
• Must have good tenure, no more than two jobs in the last five years
• The candidate must have proven culinary skills with French and Modern American Cuisine, serving Breakfast & Brunch
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills.

• Manage all aspects of the kitchen and collaborate with the CDC and the hotel team.
• Scratch-made French pastries, artisanal cheeses, fine charcuterie & house-smoked fish
• Manage a staff of 10 while mentoring them to hire commanding roles within the hotel.
• Oversee quality and consistency in food preparation, presentation, and customer experience, including tastings for events, and interact with guests.
