About the role
Reporting to the Head of Digital Delivery, this Technical Lead role sits within a collaborative IT function supporting digital, eCommerce and integration platforms. You will work closely with Digital, Marketing and IT stakeholders while leading technical direction, architecture decisions, vendor management and development quality across critical customer-facing initiatives.

Duties / Key responsibilities - Lead solution design and technical delivery across digital and integration platforms
- Conduct code reviews and ensure development quality and coding standards are maintained
- Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver scalable, secure and high-performing solutions
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to developers and external vendors
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities across digital platforms, DevOps and CI/CD practices
Skills and experience - Proven experience in a Technical Lead or similar senior engineering role
- Strong experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce Cloud and large-scale PHP eCommerce development
- Deep understanding of PWA, NextJS, React, APIs and GraphQL
- Experience with integration platforms and digital ecosystems
- Knowledge of marketplace management, order management and fulfilment systems
- Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management capability
- Hands-on coding capability with strong problem-solving skills
- Experience working within Agile delivery environments
- Strong understanding of eCommerce, retail and supply chain operations
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
