About the Role
This is a first-of-its-kind hire for the business. Reporting directly to the founding team, you will own the AI agenda end-to-end: identifying the highest-impact opportunities, building production-grade solutions, and being the go-to technical authority that unlocks what the team cannot tackle alone.

Duties / Key Responsibilities - Design, build, and deploy AI agents and automated workflows that solve real business problems across the organisation
- Work across LLM platforms including Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, and Perplexity to select and apply the right tool for each use case
- Own the complexity, edge cases, and failures the team cannot resolve independently
- Act as the internal AI authority and upskill the broader team to embed AI capability across day-to-day operations
- Proactively track developments across the AI landscape and bring new tools and thinking into the business
Skills and Experience - Background in software engineering or a closely related technical discipline (not data analytics)
- Hands-on experience building with LLMs and AI platforms, including agents, automations, and production-grade workflows
- Strong engineering fundamentals: able to handle complexity, debug failures, and build durable solutions
- Comfortable operating autonomously in a fast-moving, non-technical environment where priorities shift
- Genuine interest in financial markets, investing, or trading
- Effective communicator with the ability to bring a non-technical team along on the journey
