About the Role
A senior, hands-on architecture role within a consulting environment. Working across a portfolio of client engagements, you will lead end-to-end solution design and delivery for enterprise data platforms, contribute to pre-sales activities, and provide technical leadership to delivery teams.
Benefits
Salary range of $180,000 to $195,000 + super
Duties / Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and delivery of enterprise data platforms across cloud-native environments, covering ingestion, transformation, storage, and reporting layers
- Assess current-state data environments and design scalable, secure, and high-performing end-to-end solutions aligned to governance, compliance, and privacy best practices
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to delivery teams, ensuring quality and consistency across engagements
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops across business and technical audiences, translating requirements into actionable solution designs
- Contribute to pre-sales activities including proposal development, solution design, and cost and effort estimation
Skills and Experience - Proven experience as a Data Platform or Solution Architect in a consulting or large-scale enterprise environment
- Deep knowledge of cloud data architecture patterns including data lake, warehouse, and lakehouse
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipeline design, orchestration, and data engineering approaches
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and distributed processing frameworks such as Spark
- Solid grounding in data governance, security, compliance, and data modelling practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across technical and business stakeholders
- Experience producing high-quality delivery artefacts and leading client-facing workshops
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF desirable
- Relevant cloud or data engineering certifications desirable
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
