About the Company Our client is a growing financial services business based in Sydney, investing in a greenfield Workday implementation as part of a broader uplift in how it manages people data across the organisation.
About the Role Reporting to the strong leader, you'll be the data analyst embedded in the Workday program, consolidating a high volume of HR and payroll systems into a single clean source. You'll work closely with stakeholders, delivery teams, and system integrators to make sure data is mapped, validated, and ready for go-live.
Benefits
- $900 to $1,200 per day depending on experience
- 12-month contract on a greenfield implementation, shaping the data approach from scratch
- Sydney CBD with hybrid working, 3 days per week in the office
Duties / Key Responsibilities - Cleanse, structure, and maintain employee data across multiple source systems
- Deliver source-to-target mapping, validation, reconciliation, and go-live readiness
- Develop SQL queries and structured datasets to support reporting and analysis
- Prepare workforce insights covering staffing, turnover, movement, and retention
- Partner with stakeholders, delivery teams, and system integrators across the program
Skills and Experience - Solid ERP data analyst experience across HCM, Oracle, SAP, or similar
- Strong hands-on capability in data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
- Proficiency in SQL and Excel
- Strong communication skills and genuine curiosity about how a business works
- Workday experience is a highly advantageous
