About the Company
Our client is a well-known Australian financial services business undergoing a major transformation. The finance workstream sits at the centre of a complex, high-stakes ERP program with a hard go-live target.
About the Role
You'll be embedded in the finance workstream of the separation programme, working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Technology and Integration partners. This is a hands-on delivery role where you'll own your work end-to-end through to go-live and stabilisation, not a directing or management position.
Key highlights
- Immediate start required on a high-profile, complex transformation program
- Hybrid working with 3+ days per week in the Sydney CBD office
- Genuine end-to-end ownership of a finance workstream, ideal for BAs who want to stay close to the work
Duties / Key Responsibilities - Deliver business analysis across key finance modules including GL, AP, Expenses, Fixed Assets and Financial Reporting
- Produce requirements documentation and process design artefacts including BRDs, process maps, RTMs and user stories
- Support data migration activities including mapping, cleansing, validation and reconciliation between legacy and target systems
- Support testing, cutover and hypercare through to go-live and stabilisation
- Manage stakeholder engagement, governance and RAID across finance workstreams
Skills and Experience - 5+ years as a Business Analyst in finance transformation or ERP delivery environments
- Strong finance foundations with a working understanding of GL, AP and P2P/O2C processes, not just the documentation of them
- Hands-on experience with data migration, UAT coordination and cutover activities
- A self-sufficient delivery style: you produce artefacts yourself and work through problems rather than managing up
- Financial services background preferred but not essential where ERP and finance delivery credentials are strong
- Workday experience advantageous but not required
- Immediately available
