Description

Our client is a well-established Florida-based mechanical contractor with extensive experience in business, executing large-scale commercial projects. They are seeking a senior operational leader to oversee enterprise-wide field execution, safety, workforce performance, and operational results across multiple divisions.

This role is ideal for a hands-on executive with deep experience leading large field teams, complex mechanical scopes, and multi-project environments, who thrives in the field and drives results through discipline, accountability, and strong leadership presence.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead all field operations across projects and divisions, ensuring on-time, on-budget, high-quality execution
• Own company-wide safety culture, OSHA compliance, and risk mitigation
• Drive labor productivity, operational efficiency, and margin performance
• Partner closely with executive leadership, project management, manufacturing, and finance
• Oversee workforce strategy: hiring, training, leadership development, and retention
• Maintain strong field presence across job sites to reinforce standards and accountability
• Support estimating, preconstruction, and client relationships with operational insight

Requirements

• 10+ years of leadership experience in mechanical construction or large-scale commercial construction
• Minimum 5 years at Director-level or senior operational leadership
• Proven experience managing large field organizations and complex, multi-project portfolios
• Strong financial and labor management acumen
• Ability to travel regionally and remain consistently active in the field
• Bachelor’s degree required (Construction Management, Engineering, or related)
