JOB TITLE: Director of Safety
LOCATION: Miami, FL In-market travel required
TYPE: On-site
SCHEDULE: Full-time, Monday to Friday
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent
PAY RATE: $90K - $100K
 
A leading steel fabrication and installation company is seeking a Director of Safety to lead all aspects of workplace safety across shop and field operations. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in high-impact industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and enforce all safety policies and OSHA compliance.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Lead safety training for fabrication and field teams.
• Monitor safety metrics (TRIR, DART) and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 8+ years in safety leadership within construction, fabrication, or industrial sectors.
• OSHA 30 required; CSP or CHST preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and training skills.
