Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in Cheshire, are looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their Housing Management Operations. 

Position: Housing Officer
Rate: £18.48 PAYE
Contract Duration: 4 Months with possible extension
Working Arrangement: Hybrid

Job Responsibilities:

• To deliver a high quality housing management service that meets the identified needs of customers, the organisation and the wider community in line with Sanctuary Housing Services’ business plan.
• Provide effective tenancy and resident management in line with the prescribed internal policies and good practices to build community cohesion.
• The job sits within Housing Services which manages homes across England, providing general rented housing, housing for older people, market rent properties, shared ownership and home ownership accommodation. It also provides housing related services including lettings, debt management, compliance, tenancy management and customer services support.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Previous experience working in a Housing Officer or a similar role.
• Full current driving licence
• NVQ3 in relevant area
