Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy Local Authority based in Bedfordshire, are looking for an experienced Risk Officer to join their team and play a crucial role in their Internal Audit, Fraud, Insurance & Risk Operations.       

Position: Risk Officer
Rate: £40 ph Umbrella
Contract Duration: 3 Months possible extension

Job Responsibilities: 

• Undertake a full review of the Risk Register to ensure it is up to date, consistent in structure and risk controls properly documented and assigned.
• Ensure that the councils JCAD risk management system is up to date and management reporting it being optimised.
• To also provide guidance and training to other risk officers so they can undertake the role more fully at the end of the Interim period.

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience working within a local authority or a similar organisation.
• Must have experience of using the JCAD CORE Risk Management System
• Excellent knowledge and recent experience as a Risk Officer or similar role.
