Are you eager to land a brand new role? Our client, a busy local authority in West London, are looking for an experienced Neighbourhoods & Communities Manager to join their team and play a crucial role in their housing operations.  

Position: Neighbourhoods & Communities Manager
Rate: £300 per day (Umbrella, Inside IR35) 
Contract Duration: Temp (Nov 2026) Possible Extension
Working Arrangement: Fully Onsite

Job Purpose: 

• The Council currently has circa 12,000 tenanted homes. The Neighbourhood and Communities Manager will be responsible for a team that oversees service delivery to 2,000 residents. You will be expected to lead your team to provide a resident- focused, responsive and supportive to our general needs tenants.

Job Responsibilities:

• You will deliver a first-rate tenancy and neighbourhood management service, make sure our residents are safe, ensuring that fire safety, antisocial behaviour and estate management is managed efficiently and in line with policies and procedures. 
• You will be accountable for providing strategic and operational leadership to the neighbourhoods and communities team, improving and shaping service delivery, policy and driving innovation to ensure compliance with the Regulatory Standards set by the Housing Regulator, working towards a C1 rating. 
• You will provide a service that supports residents to live in safe and sustainable communities and improves resident satisfaction, quality of life and opportunity. Operational delivery will be key. You will be a go-to subject matter expert in neighbourhood and tenancy management, provide inspiring and motivating leadership, supporting and guiding your team to excel. 

Job Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level or equivalent experience.
• A level 4 housing qualification or willingness to work towards one within a two-year period.
• Proven ability to lead at an operational level, influencing operational service delivery, corporate strategy and delivering transformational change.
