Are you eager to land a brand new role for the? Our client in South West England are looking for an experienced Htst Fleet Supervisor to join their team and play a crucial role in their fleet operations.

Position: Htst Fleet Supervisor
Location: Bristol
Hourly Rate: £24 p/h (Umbrella)
Start: ASAP
Hours: 20 hours a week (Flexible Hours)
Duration: 4 months (Possible Extension)

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the setup of Home to School Travel and other services in the future (this will include direct line management of drivers).
• Ensure that vehicles are kept and driven in a safe manner with regard to appropriate codes of practice and the comfort of children & young people.
• Responsible for ensuring the service is legal, safe, and fit for purpose, and accountable for the operation of vehicle fleet and any other HTST related asset.
• Contribute to the development of the HTST service, to respond to operational needs by initiating, developing and implementing innovative training and feeding into policy decisions.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a Fleet Supervisor position or equivalent.
• Qualifications at NQF/QCF/FHEQ Level 5 plus relevant experience or
  equivalent (or has evolved in skills and experience to this level).
• Proven experience of fleet management. Day to day management of
  drivers and fulfilling operational requirements related to upkeep of vehicles.
• ATCO/CILT (UK) Passenger Transport Co-ordinators Certificate/CILT (UK) Level 3 Certificate in Logistics & Transport, Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence, or equivalent qualification.
• A CIEH Qualified Risk Assessor would be advantageous.
