We are currently recruiting for a Independent Living Assessor, on behalf of our client based in London. The contract for this position is on a temporary basis, initially for up to 3 Months. 

JOB DETAILS

• PAY RATE: £14p/h Umbrella
• WORK TYPE: Temporary
• WORK PATTERN: Full Time 
• LOCATION: London

• To give individualised care in a timely and responsive manner in order to assist users and carers with less complicated needs in taking control of their lives and promoting the highest level of independence and safety.
• To evaluate individuals in accordance with the predetermined eligibility requirements and arrange the necessary equipment, adaptations, and services in a secure, efficient, and timely manner.
• To include users and caregivers in the service's monitoring and assessment.
• To participate in the assessment services' duty service and to complete placements within their various specialties.

• Must have worked in a public sector organisation. 
• Relevant experience working with an Adult Social Care user group. Knowledge and knowledge of the problems faced by those who may require Social Care and Community Equipment Services.
• Excellent recording skills and experience using electronic recording systems on a regular basis.
• Utilizes simple planning strategies for handling emails and/or administrative duties.
• Understanding of the fundamental principles of the NHS and Community Care Act, health and safety regulations, and recommendations for the provision of disability equipment and the duty of care.
