Position: Civil Inspector
Location: Oman
Duration: 3 years
Leave Cycle: 3 months working and 1 month leave
 
Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct inspections and quality checks on civil construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and standards.
2. Review and interpret civil engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project plans.
3. Monitor and inspect construction activities, including earthworks, concrete works, structural works, and finishing works, to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
4. Ensure proper implementation of PDO Standards/Specifications in all civil works.
5. Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations from project requirements and recommend corrective actions.
6. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of findings.
7. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure quality assurance.
8. Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with approved construction methods and materials.
9. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards during all construction activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Education:
   • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Civil Inspector, OR
   • Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 15 years of experience as a Civil Inspector.
2. Experience:
   • Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing PDO Standards/Specifications.
3. Skills:
   • Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, materials, and inspection techniques.
   • Familiarity with PDO Standards/Specifications.
   • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
   • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
   • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
