We are looking for Civil Inspector who have good years of experience in oil gas vendor Inspection

Position: Civil Inspector – Oil & Gas Vendor Inspection

Location: Oman
Job Duration: Long Term

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Inspector with strong expertise in vendor inspections for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Review and verify all civil engineering fabrication and inspection deliverables.
• Ensure full compliance with Company HSE policies, procedures, and project specifications.
• Attend stage-wise inspections and witness/hold points as per approved ITP.
• Conduct receiving inspections of project materials, review MTCs, and confirm compliance with OQ requirements.
• Review and sign off contractor test reports and test packs.
• Verify and certify red mark-ups and final as-built drawings.
• Review additional works related to civil activities.
• Perform vendor inspections and laboratory testing including cube tests and CBR tests.
• Inspect steel structure fabrication including visual inspection, dimensional checks, PT, UT, and coating thickness testing.
• Conduct aggregate and crusher tests such as crushing value, impact value, abrasion resistance, and soundness tests.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a QC Inspector in civil inspection activities for medium to major EPC projects within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in pipelines, stations, buildings, and road works.
• Strong knowledge in testing civil construction materials.
• Hands-on experience in earthworks, excavation, concrete works, block works, roofing, roads & paving, tank pads, bunds, and general civil works.
• Familiar with Material Approval Sheet (MAS) review process.
• Experienced in issuing and closing out NCRs
