Role: Instrument & Electrical Inspector
Project: QMIS - Saudi Aramco Quality Management Inspection Service
Client: SAUDI ARAMCO
Work Location: Within Saudi Arabia, at Saudi Aramco project Sites, Specific location to be identified upon selection
Project: NGL (Natural Gas Liquids) or Fractionation projects
Good to have CBT pass / SAP ID experience
- Education: Bachelor’s in respective discipline OR a 2-year industrial/technical College.
- Requirement: 4+ years of quality experience required for Engineering (8+ years of quality experience required for diploma holders). Resume reflected working knowledge of electrical installations including materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous location identification for oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
- Certifications: Inspectors are expected to hold internationally recognized certifications in the disciplines for which they are qualified. For example: Electrical inspector NCPCCI, NFPA 70, ICBO, SMACNA, Uniform Mechanical Code, NFPA 90A, ASHRAE.
Experience: - Electrical inspector shall demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of the National Electric Code/NFPA 70, or equivalent standards.
- He shall also have working knowledge of electrical installations including
- materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous location identification for oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
- He must be NFPA 70 Certified or equivalent.
- He shall satisfy the requirements of a fully qualified Instrument Technician/ Engineer meeting the requirements laid out by the Instrument Society of America or the Institute of Measurement Control
Position SummaryAs an Inspector your role is to perform the inspection services to verify the quality of the work performed by the Contractors (and subcontractors) and material supplied by Vendors (and sub-vendors) is in compliance with the Contracts’ stipulated requirements throughout the course of the Project.
Principal duties: - Perform "Hold", "Witness" and "Surveillance" inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications.
- Inspect material and equipment as applicable to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements for proper
- handling, storage and protection at SAUDI ARAMCO facilities and/or construction sites.
- Monitor Contractor's Quality Systems, records and Quality Personnel for compliance with requirements.
- Review and evaluate Contractor's Quality document submittals.
- Witness on-site and off-site material and installations tests for compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO standards.
- Record legibly and accurately all controversial and noncomplying construction practices, materials and equipment
- and report to supervisor detailed potential problems for early resolution.
- Write inspection reports and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs) and Equipment
- Deficiency Report (EDRs) as needed.
